I 'd like to introduce myself and try and answer some questions some of you have about a Hurdy Gurdy my husband and I have listed for sale. It is REAL.. we have taken new photo's and they can be seen on line in our MYSPACE account.. To answer the young lady who posted a cruel comment to our Blog Spot. The Photo's were removed because we had a serious buyer contact us. It is a shame that someone who is a player and lover of Hurdy Gurdy music and music in general can be trashed by people before they are introduced. Now to answer a few more concerns.. YES the original photo we posted was from MIke Gilpin's site.. It was a photo of our hurdy gurdy that Mike took just before he sent it to us 3 or 4 years ago. If anyone would like to contact the maker and ask if he indeed did make a Hurdy Gurdy lute back for Dan Sullivan of Massachusetts a few years back.. please feel free to investigate. Now that I am a member of this list please ASK ME directly if you have questions. We are most anxious for this instrument to find its way into the hands of a player who can appreciate its beauty.
