i had problems when i download the books,
specially with one of them... but in the end i download the files...
about the books, the first is
Casto Sampedro's Cancionero Musical de Galicia
is a collection of standars... for example a lot of tunes
of this book was performed by Milladoiro
(in Galicia is more or less like Chieftains in ireland,
a band with a lot of years of life, a "reference" for another bands)
about the other one , the Cancionero Gallego, was a compilation of tunes
by Bal y Gay and Martínez Torner. Martínez Torner mades a few
tune collections (of Asturias, for example) and Bal y Gay was
a "prolific" musician, not only worked on traditional music...
about the conection, is very very bad.... the principal page, in fact,
don't work sometimes...
you have to be patient...
and about Galician music, the reference to all galician Hurdy gurdy players is
Faustino Santalices...
there is no sheets published, but the songs are easy and you can download in
the emule:
