Hi every body my name is sylvain from quebec canada i readed all old post
since 2002-to 2003 i saw the jim,s story.. when tobie miller was looking
for a gurdy . and i can tell you 5 year after .. she is a VERY good
musician . she performed with baptiste romain and i think i never heard
something so beautifull
he was playing vielle a archet . and she was playing gurdy ..i falled inlove
with this instrument .. i plan to buy a gurdy for chrismas or before.. we
just had a festival called ''chants de vielles ''here , and it was for me
something new ,some musettes and gurdy . ect , i am piper for a band for 2
year now and to be honnest i was at the point where the military begin
too be less interesting for me .i stilllike this and i will continute with
this band for sure . but . trad is wow for me ... so i discovered the
trad 3 weeks ago .. question every body know here but not me .
what is diatonic and chromatic .. what is de difference ,? thanks
