Jim, if there's no one closer, there are at least four current
players in Bloomington, Indiana, which is only about three hours
away. My family occasionally goes to Cincy to visit Jungle Jim's and
do similar things, so if you don't find anyone else and want to come
here for a day, I'm sure we could arrange for you to meet a few
players or if I go to Cincy any time soon I could bring my two
instruments with me.

My only close encounter with H-G was in Chicago in the 1980 era,
when John Ralyea played for country dances. I have been playing
for dancing, mostly on piano accordion, moved to Cincinnati in
1987. I can report no H-G sightings here.
I have been introducing other musicians to music from the
Blowzabella repetoire, have a few interested in playing and wonder
if there is a H-G player nearby that might be interested.
