I have a lot of good experience with Herr Seibert and find that his
instruments are ultimately playable and serve the purpose of an all around good
 HG. I
have two of them and they are both of good consistent and durable quality. I
found that the instrument played in all conditions and that they are in fact
"tough as old boots". The price is right and the instrument is a great
starting point for those that want to move toward the extra fine quality
instruments or a great all around instrument for all occasions if you do not
intend to
play in a symphony.

Mine have withstood multiple Ren Faires in the California heat with
little to no change as well as a very cold evening out at the park with no
change
again. The sound is good and I can highly recommend this nice gentleman to
any that are looking to get started.

P.S. his wife teaches English in the little town that they live in and she
does what she can to improve his English so the help is there if you need it.
If you can afford it or are in the country go see him at his shop it is a very
nice visit.
