This is an interesting book - full of information and research, all in French. I'm fascinated that he put so much work into this subject. Looking through it does bring up an interesting question for me: M. Pignol draws a lot of conclusions about what makes a HG sound good, but how good do the instruments that he builds sound? Has anyone heard one? Opinions on its sound?
