Hello Kathy, BRAVO!!!!! for your husband's wonderful pics. I can tell everyone was having a great time, perhaps if you will give me a date I will come down from PA., bring my armor , hurdy gurdy 's and join in the fun!! As an old grumpy man who has opinions on everything, I thank that you and your husband building your own hurdy gurdy is fantastic, do not let the "nay sayers" steal your joy, keep on cranking and ENJOY!!! I believe that many have forgotten how primitive some of the early hurdy gurdy's were, just look at Andrey Vinogradov on YouTube his gurdy's wheel wobbles all over the place, his keys click like mad but his music , Ahhh, his music is soul reaching, its in the musician, not in the instrument, the instrument only assists in this en diver.
