We have 2 cats and 2 dogs
None of them react to HG playing
Nor to bagpipe playing EXCEPT
One dog ignores my small pipes but howls when I play my big G border pipes

One of the cats will guard my vintage Colson HG

Subject: Re: [HG] cats and dogs

I have a picture of one of my cats curled up sleeping in my hurdy-gurdy case
that was open and next to me while I was playing. Her sister, however,
preferred to leave the room. Both of them would run from the pedal harp and
hide under the bed but ignored my gothic harp.

If your cats don't like to be around hurdy-gurdies, they will go away while you
are playing and come back when they are ready. I wouldn't worry about it. :-)
