Hi:

Now that I've compromised my lurker status, I thought that I might post
a query. I don't want to start the whole "Kits: Salvageable or Total
Waste of Time" thread again, but according to the Olympic website:

The Early Music Shop used to sell a kit, the best of the bunch.
Their website doesn't seem to mention it any more, but it may return.

Well, the kit has returned. Specifically, the symphony kit. I have
emailed an inquiry to them, since the description is very short on
details. The catalog simply refers to a "Newly designed EMS Symphony" and
the price list refers to a kit for about 280 GBP. A medieval instrument
suits my interests and the price suits my wallet. As far as the actual
building is concerned, I have learned that I can do almost anything as
long as I observe Basic Rule #1 "If you don't know what you are doing,
do it neatly."

Does anyone know anything specifically about this instrument or the kit?

Thanks

Roger
