Hello everyone,
Well for those gurdiers going to Pennsic (big medieval re-enactment faire
in Pennsylvania, USA) this year, anyone interested in co-teaching a "this
is a Hurdy-gurdy" class? I believe Melissa the Loud did it last year - and
I did one the year before. It was fun (for me at least) - the end of the
class became a Hurdy-gurdy triage session where I tried to cotton, shim and
otherwise coax sound from some pretty shoddy instruments that some
unsuspecting people had bought from ebay.
Yes, it's early but the class reg. deadline is at the beginning of May
and so if I don't write now - next time I think about this the deadline will
be passed. Let me know - Jocelyn
