if the lenght of the open melody string length (from bridge to
saddle) is about 34,5 cm the Spirocore viola a strong is my
recomendation in this case, if the open melody string length is more
about 36 cm the Spirocore viola a medium or soft is it.
For the drones I use Dominant 1/8 cello strings, for the trompette
gut string. If you do not want to use gut a fluor-carbon one, like
for guitar or harp is fine. Depending on your sound ideal and the
open strings lenght anything between 0.85 mm to 1.10 mm might be good.
