Brother Mark,

There is a couple who play renaissance music. I think they are from the Philly area. The gurdy player's first name is Karen. The lute player had his lute made on commission from a fellow in Binghamton, NY area.

I live about 120 mile NW of you in Danville. A few times a year I get down to Quakertown. I also go to Bethlehem, especially for Musikfest, but sometimes sit in with my friends in DayBreak when they play at Godfrey Daniels.

Though I don't own a gurdy, I have the passion for one. I hear the music in my head. But what I do play is the Mountain Dulcimer and Mando family instruments and some Tenor
Banjo. Occasionally a Tenor Guitar.

I am also a BeeKeeper.

Please email me off list with details on the gurdy for sale.

In Harmony,

Dear friends,
I am new to this list although I have had an interest in the Hurdy Gurdy for many, many years. I am presently located in far Eastern Pennsylvania in the tri-city area of Easton/Allentown/Bethlehem. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate anyone in the immediate area who might play or own a hurdy gurdy. I also have a lovely Hurdy Gurdy for sale. It is in pristine condition, just a couple of years old, built by an excellent European builder. If you know of anyone interested, let me know. Sincerely, Brother Mark
