Hi, all!

I noticed a fascinating web project while surfing the web today-- check it out: http://www.museum-markneukirchen.de/drehleier.htm For those who don't read German, mouse click on the keys and they activate, and the crank turns when it is clicked. The inventor/webmaster, Frank Fickelscherer-Fassl of the Musical Instrument Museum in Markneukirchen, Germany, invites others to help provide MP3 sounds to the animation, or at least he did in July of '07. My apologies if this has already been discussed...

Hey, Penny - we hope to see you there!

Alden and Cali

Hi Katie, thanks for the invitation, but I won't be able to join you at
Folklife. I do hope to join all of you at the Over the Water Festival in
September. Have fun! Penny

For anyone who happens to be in the Greater Seattle area this weekend it is Folklife time. The OTW Board invites all to join them on Saturday for a jam. We don't have a specific location. Look for us under shade if it is sunny and under more substantial cover if it is raining. I know that that doesn't help a lot, but it is first come first served for the prime spots and we have to be fairly specific with our requirements. Bring a chair you can play in.We hope
to see a lot of you there!Katie RoeOTW President
