Hi Billy - I went to Snowshill about 12 years ago. They let me come when they were closed and spent a couple of hours inspecting the instruments and taking a few measurements etc. I've also got some photos. The curator and staff were amazingly kind and made me coffee and sandwiches and all I had to do in return was sit in the garden another day when they were open to the public, and play some tunes. They even gave me lunch for that as well. It's a great place absolutely stuffed with the most extraordinary items. The owner spent his life travelling and collecting anything that he thought was beautifully made etc. and definitely worth a visit.
Anyway, contact me off list and I can email what I have to you.
All the best
Mike
