Boudet himself sells an excellent hard case that fits his lutebacks and 
presumably other makers' lutebacks of similar dimensions. What is nice about it 
is that it provides excellent protection without being overly bulky or heavy. 

You can acquire them from his booth at St. Chartier, or from him directly. 
However, shipping a case like that to the US is probably prohibitively 
expensive.

Hello HG mavens,
So where do you all get cases for your hgs? I don't need the Pelican flight 
case, just a useful case for my hg. Has anyone modified a case for another 
instrument, or found existing instrument cases that work for hgs? I realize 
there are a lot of variations of size and shape, but just in general.
