Hello Diana
A woman in the audience at one of our Broadstairs folk Week gigs said she had
a friend in Lewisham who wanted hurdy-gurdy lessons, was that you? I gave her
information on Les Batons which is on the third Sunday of the month at
Hollingbourne village hall near the Maidstone / Leeds castle junction of the
M20 in Kent. If you were to bring your gurdy to that I could give it a quick
look over. As a general rule I like to do an introductory lession free of
charge just in case the instrument needs attention. The next Les Batons is 21st
September 1pm-5pm.
Also on Saturday 20th September it is possible that I could have an evening
gig in Blackheath so I would be in your area.
  Philip

Hello Mike,

Thanks very much for your reply to my message re hurdy gurdy lessons and
maintenance. I would be very interested in coming up to see you - I have a
brother who lives in Saffron Walden - is that far from you?

Could I ask you how much you would charge for lessons, and also for looking
over the hurdy gurdy re maintenance and tuning?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Diana (Stevenson)
