I would recommend to get Hibernate3 from the branch_3_2 (ie ant),
HAN / HEM / HSearch being aligned with Hibernate Core 3.2
Check http://www.hibernate.org/30.html#A6 for some more info, I've
updated it slightly.

Can I also suggest to set add the target directory of each maven
module to the svn:ignore list? After building Hibernate3 my IDE
reports all target directories as unversioned
