Hi Steve, I have a complete patch set (including test cases and documentation) implementing the extension of the Criteria API (actually, no API changes, just implementation changes) to handle collection-of-component and collection-of-value. I'd like to get this code integrated into Hibernate because it has been working in production for years for us and many others have requested this functionality.
I will need first to re-base my changes against trunk (changes were last rebased around 3.5 beta something). I would need some small amount of your time to understand and review the changes. I could go over it via email or irc or whatever. The changes have been split into independent commits as much as possible (and there are a few prerequisites patches which may just be outright bugs).
