Congrats,
I'm the more open source projects that pick up some form of sponsorship the better. For better or worst the JBoss group gets lots of attention so more exposure for hibernate. I was a bit disappointed that the jboss group website doesn't mention the announcement.
One question I have is ... who will own the copyright on the source?
We'll be adding to JBoss website as soon as we can. The official PR release is supposed to be October 6th, the one we send to all the press and analysts, so Hibernate's name will be their too. Marc is going on an analyst/press tour next week and will be talking a lot about the partnership and hiring.
We have a PR firm(Schwartz) that we have hired long ago. Hibernate will benefit from this as well.
Regards,
Bill
