Yes, although I will admit amusement was not my first reaction :-) Proxool guys are ok having a temporary dependency on both cglib1 & 2, since hibernate.jar is just used for testing. I'm putting a patch together, after which you can either build proxool.jar from CVS or wait for their next release. They have also nicely offered to do a quick release for Hibernate if the normal schedule doesn't work out and you need a non-CVS jar.
