Ah, we might want to make sure that EHCache is not 1.4 only.

Greg Luck has forked JCS and created a new project on sf.net. IMO we should replace our JCS integration with EHCache. Does anyone object to simply removing JCS support in 2.1? I think we have all seen how there are problems with robustness / performance in the build we are currently using.
