FYI, I just started a massive merge from the v21branch onto the v22branch this afternoon. There were/are a lot of discrepencies and conflicts that I need to resolve manually. That's the reason for a lot of the issues you are seeing.
I am hoping to finish it up tomorrow in the AM. I definitely would not be using the v22branch until thats finished. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Rafael Muñoz Vega Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2004 6:10 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Hibernate] v22 branch On Mon, 26 Jan 2004 13:36:13 -0500, Gavin King <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > 2.2 will certainly not be ready for another 6 months, or perhaps longer. > > If you are adventurous, you can always work against CVS (at your own > risk, of course). > [Sorry to send this mail to the personal mail of Gavin King. I re-send to the devel list, with aditional information] Thanks for your fast answer. Well, i'm adventurous and needed so i think that i'll try the CVS version :). But, my questions are the same: Is it 'more or less' stable the v22 branch? Are there any (a lot of?) bugs fixed or aditional features in the main branch and not in the v22 branch? Is the engine completly new or the same or similar that the old and tested engine? I insist about the stable_or_not_thing because there are reference to classes that not exist in the CVS (ScheduledBulkDeletion in the addBulkDelete method in SessionImpl) and maybe all the code base are not upload in the CVS. There are a lot of test that failed in this branch (after i comment the bad reference). I have to don't worry about it????
