can we /please/ be a lot more careful about adherence to conventions, there has been a bunch of "rot" creeping into v22branch. Specifically:
* TABS NOT SPACES!! * newline before catch or finally * newline after /** * no stacked parentheses
Now, "ant checkstyle" picks up most of these things, but it does not catch the use of spaces so please be careful and remember to configure your IDEs appropriately.
