Which is it? Release or Release Candidate? If former, website should be updated to avoid confusion. If latter, website should be changed so it doesn't say "production ready".

Why can't a release candidate not be production ready? There is a known bug, documented in readme.txt - if you are not affected, go in production. There is no good reason why we should hold everyone back for another week or two.
