All contributions should go into the jira

I have a FinderRenderer for generating finder classes using the Spring
HibernateDaoSupport and HibernateTemplate classes that I would like to
submit to the hibernate tools project. Where should I submit my code for
acceptance/feedback?

FinderRenderer is deprecated/not-supported anymore, we have moved on with
a more consolidated codegenerator in hibernatetools for hibernate 3 -
see tools.hibernate.org

I would also like to try writing some dialects for quasi-relational data
sources (Content Management Systems, Mainframe Integration Systems) that
use a subset of ansi SQL. I was wondering if there are currently any
efforts in this area?

dont think so. put stuff in jira.
