Hi guys,

With permission from the support guys behind our JIRA server I just enabled CVS integration in our JIRA
for all the current projects (HHH,HBX,ANN & EJB).

What does this do ?
It adds a "Version control" tab on each issue page where you can see the commits that listed the curent issue ID in the commit message. From here you can directly link to the ViewCVS page.

As an example see http://opensource2.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-844?page=vcs

NOTE: Be aware that clicking on the "Version control" sometimes can be expensive and jira remembers which tab you were on last. So if every issue page loads slowly for you remember to check if it is actually loading with the Version Control tab and if it is, just click on "Comments" and everything should be quick for you again ;)

I configured JIRA to update the cvs comments every 5 hours (equal to the current sync delay for anonymous cvs on sf.net), so don't expect commits to be instantly available on a issue; wait at least 5 hours.
