One years
later, Sistem pendidikan
barat yang kujalani selesai sudah, Tahap
awal, Maklumlah, bukan
cuma dibidang Teknologi yang kugeluti, tapi juga dibidang
sosial kudalami pula. Beberapa hal yang
bisa kudapatkan selama aku belajar itu, Sistem pendidikan
yang ada (hampir diseluruh dunia), kenyataannya adalah dampak spesialisasi dari
Adam Smith. Pemecahan-pemecahan
bidang, spesialisasi-spesialisasi bidang, dlsb. Satu ketika pernah,
saat aku memberi mentor di Masjid kampus, kutanya mereka satu
persatu," Kalau kamu sudah lulus nanti, kamu ingin jadi apa
?", Bermacam-macam
jawaaban muncul, yang kepingin kerja jadi inilah, yang itulah, yang kayak
beginilah, tapi satu hal yang sama, di pemikiran mereka satu hal yang sama,
bahwa mereka berpikir bahwa mereka harus ikut kerja di orang lain, baikpun itu
kantor, ataupun perusahaan ataupun pabrik, dlsb. Inilah yang
kukatakan dampak dari spesialisasi Adam smith, mendidik orang
menjadi PEKERJA. Mendidik orang
menjadi suruhan, bawahan etc. Kasihan
mereka.... adik-adik tingkatku
yang berpikiran sempit. Mereka belum
melihat kenyataan yang ada, berapa banyak
seorang Sarjana yang menganggur, berapa banyak
Sarjana yang tidak bekerja di bidangnya, berapa banyak
sarjana yang kerjanya tak lebih baik dari yang lulusan SD. Untuk itu semuakah
kujalani pendidikan selama 6 tahun ini ???? Kupaksakan juga
menempuh S2 dibidang teknik. Ingin kulihat
benar, masihkah aku dapat
menarik manfaat dari sini. Setengah tahun
sudah berjalan, satu ketika aku
melawat kematian saudaraku. seorang Professor,
Suaminya seorang Professor barusan meninggal, Istrinya juga
seorang Professor yang sekarang kulayat ini. Terlintas
pertanyaan menggelitik dariku, he..he..he... "Profesor- Profesor
khok ternyata bisa mati juga yaa.........", Lalu apa yang sudah
mereka persiapkan untuk itu ??? Pengakuan dunia
mereka peroleh, Tapi apakah bisa
menyelamatkan diri mereka dari perjalanan maut ??? Hidup di dunia
mungkin tak lebih dari 100 tahun, tetapi...... hidup di akherat
nanti mungkin ribuan atau puluhan tahun. Kita hidup di dunia
ini hanya satu tempat peristirahatan sejenak saja, untuk kemudian
melangkah menempuh perjalanan lagi setelah datangnya
kematian. Masuklah
dipemahamanku. Inilah perbedaan
orang yang mengerti, paham masalah kematian, Dengan orang yang
SADAR akan kematian. Semua orang pasti
tahu kalau nanti juga akan mati. Dan Mayoritas orang
mengklaim bahwa dirinya memahami akan kematian. Tapi hanya sedikit
yang menyadari akan kematian. Hanya bagi orang
yang menyadari saja yang akan mempersiapkan kematiannya. Maka aku jadi ingat
apa yang dikatakan oleh Nabi Muhammad,"Perbanyaklah ingat akan
mati", Rahasianya, kalau
kita banyak-banyak ingat akan mati, akan meningkat kesadaran kita akan kematian,
dan akan ingat dan sadarlah kita, bahwa kematian, perjalanan kematian perlu kita
persiapkan dengan sungguh-sungguh. Jangan pahami
berarti kehidupan dunia kita kesampingkan...tidak. Tapi marilah jujur
pada diri sendiri, Kehidupan dunia
sudah sedemikian kita bersungguh-sungguh untuk mempersiapkannya, tapi kenapakah
untuk kehidupan nanti setelah kematian kita, tidak kita persiapkan dengan
sungguh-sungguh ??? Lihatlah
nurani, Sedemikian banyak
Excuse kita buat untuk tidak mempersiapkannya. "Bukankah aku
bekerja untuk mencari nafkah anak dan istriku...dan ini ku niati ibadah
...bukankah ini sudah cukup" he..he...he... silahkan
diteruskan... dan akan banyak kau temukan alasan-alasan yang masuk akal untuk mendukungmu agar tidak mulai melangkah mempersiapkan kematianmu yang tiap hari semakin dekat.

(9) Satu tahun
kemudian, The western
education which I had performed had been finished
already, The first
step, That was not
only the field of technology which I had plunged
into, But I also
plunged into the field of sociology. Several
matters which I could get during I learned those, The existence
of the education system(almost in a whole world), And the
reality was showed up the specialization of Adam
Smith. The division
of the fields, and the specialization of the fields, and so
on. Once upon a
time, when I was a mentor in a mosque of my campus, I asked them
one by one,�If you have graduated later, what will you want to
be?�, Variety of
answers sprung up, who wanted to get to work as like this or like
that, This one was
just the way it was, but one thing was the same, There was a
same thing in their thoughts, That they had
to think they had to get to work under someone else�s
order, Either they
worked in an office, or company, or in a factory, or so
on. This one which
I have told you over the effect of Adam Smith�s
specialization, Educate people
due to be an EMPLOYEE. Educate people
to be an errand boy / girl, be a subordinate, and
others. What a pity
they were... My juniors
were narrow-minded. They had not
seen the reality yet, How many
Bachelors were unemployed, How many
Bachelors were unemployed in their own field, How many the
accomplishment of the Bachelors were lower than an Elementary graduated
boy. Was that the
pupose of what I had performed the education for six years for
???? I pushed
myself to get through Master in the field of
technics. I wanted to
see right through myself whether I kept on having the advantage from
here. Half a year
had been running out, There was a
professor whose husband was departed just in
moment, The deceased�s
wife was a professor whom I condoled. Questions
crossed my mind, He...he...he... �Professors
can be perished, can�t them?� �Then what
have been prepared by them for that???� The admittence
by people around the world has been gotten by them
already, But can they
hide away from the death??? How long we live in this world might be
not over than 100 years, But� How long we live in the hereafter
might be over than Hundredth or thousandth
years. We live in this world only in one
haven in a quick moment, Then we step into the next journey
after the death. I understand
therein. This is the difference between man
who believes in the death, and man who realizes of the
death. Everyone certainly knows that he is
going to die soon or later. And the majority of them claim that
they understand about the death. But only a few realizes of the
death. Only for conscious people who are
preparing for their coming of the death. I remember of prophet Muhammad
said, �Keep on thinking of the
death.� The secret
beneath, If we always think about
death, It itself will increase our
consciousness upon the death, We are getting aware and always
remember that the death, and the journey
after, make sure that we have
prepared. Don�t
misunderstand. It doesn�t mean that we must forget
this life. No. But, let�s be honest to
ourselves. We have struggled so hard to make our
life here better, But�haven�t we struggled so hard as
well for preparation to our life after
death??? Let�s get down to
consciousness! A lot of excuses have been made by us
for not to prepare. �I work for making a living for my
wife and children, and I sincerely mean it for my
worship,�isn�t it enough?� Go
ahead. You will find more logical excuses to
back you up so that you feel heavy to begin to
prepare your coming death which is getting so much closer to
