Disruption Of Water Supply For 14 Hours In Four Districts On Saturday
KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 (Bernama) -- Water supply will be disrupted for 14
hours from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday in the districts of Petaling, Hulu
Langat, Sepang and Kuala Langat, which receive, supply from the treatment
plant in Semenyih.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) said the disruption was due
to asset replacement works at the plant concerned.
Supply will resume in two phases, the first after midnight on Saturday and
the second from 8 am on Sunday, it said in a statement Monday.
Areas in the Petaling district, which come under the first phase, are Taman
Perindustrian Seri Kembangan, Serdang Utama, Serdang Lama, Taman Seri
Serdang, Serdang Perdana, Seri Kembangan, Taman Muhibbah, Taman Sri
Andalas, Taman Bandar Kinrara, Taman Puchong Kinrara, Taman Bukit Kinrara
and Taman Perindustrian Bandar Kinrara.
Also included are parts of Bukit Kuchai, Taman Maju Jaya, Bandar Sunway
(Zone 4), Kampung Lindungan (Zone 4), PJS 5 to PJS 11 (Zone 4), USJ 1 to
USJ 26, Taman Subang Mewah, Taman Subang Permai 2, Batu 13 Puchong, Kampung
Tengah and Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru.
For the Hulu Langat district, areas affected under the first phase are
Kampung Teras Jernang, Perumahan Bandar Baru Bangi from Section 1 to
Section 8, Perumahan Seksyen 15 Bandar Baru Bangi, Section 9 and 16 Bandar
Baru Bangi and the Askar Wataniah Camp in Kajang Utama.
Kampung Sungai Tangkas, Kompleks Hentian Kajang, Kompleks KWSP Sungai
Tangkas, Taman Kajang Sentral, Taman Sri Langat, Taman West Country, Desa
Mahkota Bangi Lama, Kampung Rinching Hilir, Kampung Sungai Kembong Hilir
and Hulu, Kampung Tanjung Semenyih, KISDAR, Batu 6 Bangi Lama PKNS low cost
flats and Pekan Bangi Lama until Semenyih are the other areas involved.
For Sepang, it covers the whole of Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, KLIA, Bagan
Lalang, Kampung Ulu Chuchoh, Kampung Ulu Teris, Kampung Bukit Bangkong,
Tailong, Teluk Merbau Sungai Pelek, Tanjung Sepat, Kampung Baru Sepang,
Kampung Baru Sungai Pelek and its surrounding areas.
In Kuala Langat, the areas involved are Kanchong Laut in Mukim Morib
Kelanang, Taman Kanchong Laut, Taman Harmoni, Kampung Tali Air, Pantai
Morib, Taman Sri Bayu, Taman Gadong, Kampung Indah, Tongkah, Taman Desa
Jaya, Taman Sri Desa, Simpang Morib, Taman Damai, Taman Damai Indah,
Kampung Kelanang, OPRS, Kampung Kanchong Darat, Taman Mesra, Kampung Sungai
Lang Tengah, Kampung Sungai Lang Baru, Taman Beringin, Taman Cempaka and
Taman Kanchong Tengah. In the mukim of Jugra, the areas are Permatang
Pasir, Taman Desa Permatang Jaya, Chodoi, Kampung Bandar, Kampung Sungai
Buaya, Taman Permai, Kampung Sawah, Taman Sri Sawah, Kompleks TUDM, Taman
Jugra Jaya, Kolej Komuniti, Institut Latihan Perindustrian, Taman Banting
Baru, Batu Hampar, Pusat Latihan ALIM, PULAPES and the Jugra Shooting
Range.
In Mukim Batu the areas are Kampung Tembok, Kampung Tembok Darat, Kampung
Tanjung Sepat, Taman Tanjung, Taman Tanjung Sepat Indah, Taman Pelangi,
Taman Mutiara, Kampung Kundang, Kampung Batu Laut, Kampung Darat Batu, Batu
Unthong, Taman Batu Unthong and Ladang Bedford.
For mukim Tanjung Dua Belas I, it involves Bandar Brookland, Bandar
Banting, Taman Sri Putra, Taman Setia Jaya, Taman Morib, Taman Morib Indah,
Taman Banting Jaya, Taman Bersatu, Taman Baiduri, Taman Mulia, Taman
Banting Mewah, Taman Cempaka, Taman Budiman, Taman Aman, Taman Kemuning,
Rumah Kerajaan Jalan Morib, Hospital Banting, Balai Polis Banting, Majlis
Daerah Kuala Langat, the library, Youth and Sports office, Sekolah
Kebangsaan Bandar Banting, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Banting and
Kampung Sungai Kelambu as well as Bandar Sri Ehsan in mukim Tanjung Dua
Belas II.
Under the second phase, only areas in Petaling and Hulu Langat are
involved.
The areas in Petaling are Lestari Perdana, Taman Desamanium, Kota Perdana,
Bandar Putra Permai, Taman Pinggiran Putra, Taman Equine, Bandar Puncak
Jalil, Taman Universiti Indah, Taman Bukit Serdang, Taman Perindustrian
Bukit Serdang, Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (UPM), Ladang PKPS UPM,
Lestari Puchong, Saujana Puchong, Puchong Jaya, Puncak Kinrara, Puchong
Permai, Puchong Indah, Puchong Perdana, Puchong Prima, Puchong Milenia and
Taman Perindustrian Puchong Utama.
In Hulu Langat, they are Bangi Golf Resort, Bandar Baru Bangi Industrial
Area, Selaman Industrial Area, Kampung Sungai Ramal Dalam, Section 10
Bandar Baru Bangi, UKM, Taman Bukit Kajang, Taman Bukit Kajang Baru, Taman
Bukit Mewah Phase 5 to 8, Taman Bukit Permai and Taman Kajang Jaya.
Others are houses along Jalan Reko, Taman Sri Bukit, Taman Tenaga Jalan
Reko, Taman Universiti, Taman Kajang Utama, Bandar Bukit Mahkota Bangi
Lama, Bandar Rinching Phase 1 and 2, Bandar Sri Putra, Beranang Industrial
Area, Mahkota Beranang Industrial Area, Villa Raya Sungai Lalang, the MINT
factory in Jalan Bangi Lama, Semenyih Heights, whole of Jalan Broga, Jalan

Syabas also announced that water supply will be disrupted in the
Gombak/Hulu Selangor area for three hours beginning 10 am on Thursday.
The areas affected are Bukit Lela, Kampung Sungai Chincin, Gombak Setia,
Taman Harmonis, Seri Setia, Kampung Tengah Gombak, Kampung Kerdas, Batu 6
Jalan Gombak, Medan Idaman Batu 5, Gombak, kawasan Ibukota, Jalan Gombak
Batu 8, Flat Bandaraya Taman Melati, Taman Kamariah, Taman Gombak Jaya and
Taman Kenanga.
According to Syabas, the disruption is due to the widening of the road in
the area which requires the repositioning of valves to the mains along the
whole of Jalan Gombak.
