ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

 

B     Bro. Anas Al-Tikriti was born in Baghdad in 1968, but is very much part of the history

      and future of Islam in Britain. Formerly President of the Muslim Association of Britain

      and one of its founding members, Bro. Anas stood down to fight the European

      Parliamentary Elections of 2004 as a leading candidate for RESPECT. With a background

 in   linguistics, he has written numerous articles for the Guardian newspaper and comments

      frequently in the media on behalf of Muslims.
