Imperial College London bans hijab
London: Imperial College London, one of the world's foremost institutions for scientific, and medical research, has banned staff and from wearing hijabs or hoodies to improve security in its buildings. It is the first British institution to impose such a ban, which has already drawn criticism from different quarters.
The new code, approved by the college's management board, reads: " that obscures an individual's face is not allowed on any of the college's campuses. "Employees and students should refrain from wearing clothing which obscures the face, such as a full or half veil, or hooded tops (hoodies) or scarves worn across the face."
College officials said the move was part of renewed efforts to improve security on campus after the summer bombings in London.

Convoy of Death
Why have US television stations refused to broadcast this documentary?
In Afghanistan, filmmaker Jamie Doran has uncovered evidence of a massacre: Taliban prisoners of war suffocated in containers, shot in the desert under the watch of American troops.
The film has been broadcast on national television in countries all over the world and has been screened by the European parliament. Human rights lawyers are calling for investigation into whether U.S. forces are guilty of war crimes. But no U.S. media outlet has broadcast the film.

Beware The Desperation USA Scenario
- Bush's popularity is dropping like a stone.
- The party is besieged by scandals.
- They have no chance in Hell in any elections.
- They are finished.
- We will never see those clowns again.
- We have to think what we do when they are in jail.
Sound familiar? That's how the media is gloating about Bush now, as his popularity is 27% and falling.. And that is exactly what the German and foreign media said about Hitler and his NSDAP party in 1932 Germany.

Fascism then. Fascism now?
When people think of fascism, they imagine Rows of goose-stepping storm troopers and puffy-chested dictators. What they don't see is the economic and political process that leads to the nightmare.
Before the rise of fascism, Germany and Italy were, on paper, liberal democracies. Fascism did not swoop down on these nations as if from another planet. To the contrary, fascist dictatorship was the result of political and economic changes these nations underwent while they were still democratic. In both these countries, economic power became so utterly concentrated that the bulk of all economic activity fell under the control of a handful of men.

What To Do About Iraq:
It's not just a matter of "getting out," although that's Number 1 on the Christmas Wish List. My list of the necessary steps for reparation in Iraq and movement toward reconciliation with the Muslim world include the following.
