The complaint, drafted and filed by al-Hakim in pro per, has broad based support from Democrats and Republicans, was under development, monitored and submitted by Congresswoman Barbara Lee with the offices of Congressmen John Conyers, and Charles Rangel as well, has been review by several legal experts, with advocacy by former Republican Senator J. C. Watts, a client of al-Hakim.
