Battle waged in Boston over new mosque
Islamic center project has become a lightning rod for
accusations.
The stated aim of the quarter-century-old society was to build a center
for worship, education, and community outreach. Instead, the $24 million

course, were the US and UK. They were aware of the likely consequences of

Iraq's water treatment system had already been degraded by war and
sanctions, and how it would degrade completely if sanctions continued to
be imposed. Subsequent documents described the outbreak of diseases due
to poor sanitary conditions, the breakdown of ordinary medicine, the
destruction of electricity plants and the absence of clean water.
