Saya ziarah Yaman pada bulan Ogos 2005 yang lalu selama seminggu. Di Yaman, tempat pelajar Malaysia terbahagi kepada dua iaitu di Yaman Utara (Universiti Iman, Universiti Sains & Teknologi, Universiti San'aa dll) dan di Yaman Selatan (Dar Mustafa). Di Yaman Utara belajar agama cara universiti. Di Yaman Selatan terutama di Dar Mustafa dengarnya banyak dipengaruhi oleh tarikat. Ada kes cium batu nesan dan sebagainya seperti yang banyak diamalkan oleh penganut tarikat-tarikat.
