Just thought you might like to know: Sis Yvonne Ridley is currently featured in an interview by a webtv in Malaysia. The webtv wtv8, is a voluntary effort by a group of brothers and sisters and as such their presentation might be on mark to some. Sis Yvonne Ridley was in Malaysia recently to attend the International Islamic Fair 2006 (9-11 June 2006), along with several celebrated speakers; the fair was jointly organised by the Saba Islamic Media and International Islamic Service. With kind permission from the organiser, wtv8 was able to secure this interview. A point to note on wtv8: It aspires to be an alternative news channel to the political scene in Malaysia. As such, almost all of its weekly releases are in Malay, the lingua franca in Malaysia. The Saturday, 9pm new editions are then repeated thoughout the week. wtv8 can be viewed at http://wtv8.tv and is best viewed using Windows Media Player.
