1. Laman web PEMBELA mendapat sambutan luar dugaan.
Pihak Sekretariat memohon maaf atas beberapa masalah teknikal yang berlaku
kerana laman web ini mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan. Justeru bagi
mengatasi masalah yang berlaku pihak pengurusan telah menggunakan
(semi-dedicated server) untuk mengelakkan masalah capaian web ini.
2. AWAS dengan MAKLUMAT & SMS PALSU
Semua pihak diingatkan agar tidak terpengaruh dengan beberapa maklumat palsu
bahawa Azlina Jailani telah menang kes dan Pertubuhan Melayu Kristian telah
didaftarkan. PEMBELA dan PPI ingin menyatakan :
(a) Kes ini belum ditetapkan untuk keputusan oleh Mahkamah Persekutuan.
Tarikh masih belum dimaklumkan.
(b) Setelah semakan dibuat tiada sebarang Pertubuhan Melayu Kristian yang
didaftarkan secara rasmi.
Justeru sila elakkan fitnah ini dari tersebar kerana ia dibuat oleh individu
yang ingin menimbulkan spekulasi negatif dan menggangu-gugat keharmonian
masyarakat.
3. Kempen Tandatangan Diteruskan
Sambutan kempen tandatangan kini amat menggalakkan samada melalui borang
petisyen atau secara online. Pihak PEMBELA telah bermesyuarat bersama-sama
dengan pelbagai NGO pada 14 Ogos 2006 bersetuju meneruskan lagi pengumpulan
tandatangan hingga 22 Ogos 2006. Hingga kini tandatangan yang dikumpul
mencecah 500,050 tandatangan. Namun kempen ini perlu diperhebatkan. Sila
jalankan tanggungjawab anda. KITA LAKUKAN INI SEMUA DEMI ANAK CUCU KITA
