Narrated byAbuHurayrah
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If a person joins a company in
which
fruitless talking takes place and if that person before leaving the
gathering prays,
"O Allah! Holy art Thou, and all praise is for Thee; I bear witness
that there is
none worthy of worship save Thyself; I ask for Thy forgiveness and
turn to
Thee". Such a person is forgiven for his participation in such a
company.
