Who is Mrs Latifah?
Mrs. Latifah Tamerlane has been involved in Da'wah work for more than 20
years.
She has served in "The Muslim Converts Association in Spore" as Council
Member for more than 3 terms
She has also been conducting the Centre's Orientation classes for more than
10years and is still currently doing so to date .
Mrs. Tamerlane has also been invited to give public lectures on Islam at The
Spore Museum by "The Friends of the Museum" and annually at International
Schools viz. United World College, The Spore American School, The Overseas
Family School of Spore.
Although, she is the GM of a travel agent by profession, she enjoys giving
talks and doing Da'wah work in Spore and internationally.
Both Muslims and non-Muslims have enjoyed her very open, practical and
sensible approach to Islam .
Those who have benefited the most are the young, inquisitive and even the
rebellious !
Her talks relates to contemporary problems and peppered with lots of
anecdotes and real life experiences.
She is married to a British convert and is herself a Chinese Muslim .
Her exposure in her travel profession also makes her very comfortable
dealing with International audiences .
