Ya , Malaysia negara macam-macam bala. Bala buatan tangan manusia sendiri.

Petir ialah ciptaan Allah. Bala ciptaan manusia ialah banyak alat penahan petir
dicuri di sekolah-sekolah. Akibatnya akhir-akhir ini banyak sekolah terbakar di
panah petir.

Kalau di Singapura, wakaf pun dipasang alat penahan petir. Tapi kalau alat
penahan petir dipasang di wakaf dan hentian bas di Malaysia ini, pasti ianya
akan dicuri.

Lightning brothers’ nabbed (PENCURI PETIR DITANGKAP)

SHAH ALAM: The “Lightning Brothers” responsible for a spate of thefts involving
lightning arresters installed in school buildings, were arrested by police here
after a short chase.

The duo, who for the past nine months scaled school buildings in Section 16
here and stole the arresters, including the copper strip that lined the roof to
the ground below, were arrested after a scuffle on Thursday.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Noor Azam Jamaludin said both men were behaving in a
suspicious manner while riding their motorcycle.

They sped off upon seeing police approaching them.

“Both were arrested after a scuffle. Upon checking we found the duo had no
identification cards or motorcycle licence and road tax.

“The bag which they had with them contained tools like wire cutters,
screw-drivers and a metal saw.

“Initial investigations revealed both scaled school buildings in the wee hours
of the morning and stole lightning arresters and copper strips before selling
them to scrap metal dealers,’’ he added.

The brothers from Kampung Padang Jawa also tested positive for drugs.

In fact, to make such shelters safer, Hartono says that it is better to
maintain the metal roof and make sure that it is “earthed” with thick metal
strips to the ground.

IN SINGAPORE, SMALL PARK GAZEBOS HAVE BEEN EARTHED IN JUST SUCH A MANNER.
