Thank you Alexander. I've had to put my work on this on hold for a while, but now I'm back trying to deploy Higgins.
So anyway, I guess I should have figured out that there was something wrong with the duplication of the "cardsync-new" folder. So I've organized files correctly and the CardSync app deploys. I've kept the default configuration so I connect to the sohosmart.net database. So I've taken a look at the database and found out that there's a "testUser" user so I'm trying to use that username to login. However, I keep getting an org.eclipse.higgins.user.login.exception.UserNotFoundException. I figured out that if I had a wrong password, I would get a "wrong password" exception or something. I've also scrutinized tomcat's log and I don't see any other error that might explain the problem. Is there something I'm not understanding correctly? Is there a configuration that I might have missed (I've deployed the cardsync war and followed the instructions that can be found on: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/higgins-dev/msg06153.html)?
