वे जनसाधारण के लिए सुलभ होती हैंI पुस्तकालयों में अच्छे स्तर कि पुस्तकें रखी जाती हैं; उनमें कुछेक पुस्तकें अथवा ग्रन्थमालाएं इतनी महँगी होती हैं कि सर्वसाधारण के लिए उन्हें स्वयं खरीदकर पढ़ना संभव नहीं होताI यह बात संदर्भ ग्रंथों पर विशेष रूप से लागु होती हैI बड़ी-बड़ी जिल्दों के शब्दकोशों और विश्वकोशों तथा इतिहास-पुरातत्व कि बहुमूल्य पुस्तकों को एक साथ पढ़ने का सुअवसर पुस्तकालयों में ही संभव हो पाता है| इतना ही नहीं, असंख्य दुर्लभ और अलभ्य पांडुलिपियां भी हमें पुस्तकालयों में संरक्षित मिलती हैंI आज आवश्यकता है कि नगर-नगर में अच्छे और संपन्न पुस्तकालय खुलें जिससे बच्चों की पुस्तकें पढ़ने में रूचि बढ़े और देश कि युवा प्रतिभाओं के विकास के सुअवसर सहज सुलभ हों| [2/3, 2:05 PM] Gurumurthy Kasinathan: Our school Library must have Hindi story books also and we must help students to read regularly -- 1.
