Yes, the cluster topic is support to be declared durable, which means that
the underlying JMS engine will remember all messages until actually consumed.
Naturally with a certain timeout.

No expert at this, but when removing slide indexes, slide needs to
rebuild them.  It will visit all data, so it doesn't really matter if
it misses data.  If messages are received in the meantime it will queue
the updates received at that time, i think (!).

So yes, it's suppost to work correctly.
