Hi jean-Pierre,

I have created an issue in Jira as this is clearly a bug in how the
toolbar-publish-action is implemented.
You can follow the issue here: http://issues.hippo.nl/browse/CMSSIX-130.

Arthur Bogaart

Subject: [HippoCMS-dev] Save and request publication asynchronous

Hello,

We remarked something quite "wrong" about a workflow action.

When we use "request publication" from the 'edit' view of the CMS, the
document is saved, and then published, which seems very logical.

But the point is the way it works : the save is executed, and, after a
delay of 2 seconds, the publication is also executed, asynchronously.
This means that, even if the save doesn't work for some reason (a
mandatory field not filled or sth else), the publication is still
executed (and thus, the document published corresponds to the last
correctly saved version of the document).

Any idea of how to correct that?

Thank you,

Jean-Pierre Delacre
