As a functionality moving assets is not available in the Hippo CMS 6 GUI.
Is it possible? Yes it is, however it is not just a matter of doing a
WebDAV MOVE request. Assets are typically referred to from (many)
documents, so all the references need to be updated as well.
There are bits and pieces available to implement this. There is a
references view, I think it is enabled by default in the Documents tab
only, but it should also work for Assets. Implementing the actual move
action should not be much different from that for documents.
A workaround which avoids broken links would of course be a copy action,
which is very straightforward to implement (just do a WebDAV copy and
update some properties if necessary at all).
All this is from the top of my head as I am no longer involved in Hippo
CMS 6, so please correct me if I am wrong.

possible to move/copy uploaded images to different folders
etc or not. (if not, whats the reason/idea behind it that we
can tell the client)
