yyyyMMdd is not a supported date format for our Lucene index. The following formats are supported for date: EEE, dd MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss zzz EEE MMM dd HH:mm:ss zzz yyyy EEEEEE, dd-MMM-yy HH:mm:ss zzz EEE MMMM d HH:mm:ss yyyy yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z' If you want to continue using yyyyMMdd, don't index the field as date but as a normal string (i.e. remove the special indexer configuration for this field).
