Hi Reiner,
In types.xml you should add a category to the resources:
<resource name="type" label="Name" category="site1-category">
Then you limit that category to a specific url in locationmap.xml:
<match pattern="*:/content/site1">
<location src="site1-category"/>
</match>
<match pattern="*:/content/site1/**">
<location src="site1-category"/>
</match>
