Hello,
we are trying to deploy Hippo Repository / Hippo CMS 6.X on
glassfish / Sun Application Server, using [1] as starting point.
We succeeded with the repository, by using the embedded JMS provider
(Sun MQ) instead of ActiveMQ or OpenJMS.
For the CMS, everything seems to work but, when going to the "TODO"
panel or clicking on one of the documents for accessing the available
actions, all we get is a NullPointerException at

.hippo
.cms
.workflow
.DashboardWorkflowQueriesGenerator
.generate(DashboardWorkflowQueriesGenerator.java:44)
or

.hippo
.cms
.workflow
.AvailableActionsGenerator.java(AvailableActionsGenerator.java:96)
Both referenced lines are the same
Server server = serverManager.getServer();
and of course the problem is actually related to the line before
ServerManager serverManager = (ServerManager)
m_avalonSpringBridge.getBean("serverManager");
I guess that the problem is related to the spring bean serverManager,
but the only exception is related to the fact that the bean is null,
while I would have expected something during the CMS web-app
initialization.
Have you ever experienced similar issues? Do you have any hint in
understanding what could be the problem for the spring initialization?
