Do you know or mean the Verhoeff Elastin stain? Verhoeff staining solution: 25 ml 10% Haematoxylin in abs. ethanol 25 ml abs. ethanol 25 ml 10% FeCl3 (CAS 7705080) Mix well and ad 25 ml Verhoeff iodinsolution (=2 g Iodine + 4 g KI + 100 ml water)
1. deparaffinize and rehydrate slides 2.
