Rene - Those were STUFFED armadillos that had escaped from the Smithsonian!
The real armadillo work (with leprosy) is still going on in Hawaii ('cause I
got involved in that for a very short period of time in the Olde Days). If you
want an armadillo - ask someone that lives in Texas and I'm sure they'd be
happy to round one up for you. Watch them claws, though.
Retirement... aaah...time to annoy people!
