To be a PA you would need to have ASCP certification. There is one route to be eligible for certification.
To be eligible for this examination category, an applicant must have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/university, AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program within the last five years. Most of the NAACLS programs are Masters degrees.
