We have purchased several disposable core biopsy instruments of varying gauges and take samples of large resection specimens. We also use the same grossing tools to take small samples of GI, endo, ecc, ect.

Larger tissues are much easier to do because we can readily gross duplicate sections. Obviously we can't adopt this approach for smaller samples because they're entirely submitted.
